Long overdue...

Hey ya'll it's your fav SportsGal89 In the building... and well this is loooooong overdue. We are on the eve of the 2010 NBA Finals between one of the greatest rivalries to ever grace the court: Boston Celtics (BOOOOOOO!) and your girls favorite team to rock the Purple and gold: THE LA LAKERS (AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!)
The Lakers were able to win GM6 in Phoenix and finally let the sun set on the West Coast. Here is a little recap in case you forgot what it looked like:



With 32 division titles under their belt,34 conference titles and 15 NBA Championships the Lakers are looking to take back the 2008 ring that the Celtics stole from them in their last head to head.
But it's not going to be an easy fight, this Laker fan knows that the Lakers need to play like they did against the Utah Jazz during the semifinals, and how they played against the Suns in Games 1 & 2! If they expect to beat the Celtics who have been playing phenomenally at the start of this playoff run, they need to bring their A-game and not play soft like they did in Games 3-6 against the Suns. Every shot needs to be taken with the intent of getting it in. They need to step up their D and they need to shut Rondo down! Artest needs to play on fire more consistently, and Jordan Farmar also needs to be a key player in this game. With Bynum still facing a questionable knee injury, it will be interesting to see in what ways he is able to step up his game. However, I really enjoyed watching what he did throughout the Suns series as he came off the bench and didn't dominate but definitely wasn't a quite bystander in the series. The Bench needs to play just as hard if not harder than the starting players, and Kobe just needs to continue to be the team leader that he is. All in all, you know this Laker fan will be watching her team shut down the Celtics and bring home that Sweet 16!!!!!!
