The hometown heros- Ohio University Bobcats. Growing up as a "Townie" my beloved Green and White will always hold a little place in my heart! Back in the day Coach Jim Grobe, was my neighbor. Coach was always nice and running around our backyards as a kid was always fun.
Today, the Bobcats kick of the 2014 season against Kent State. Let's go Bobcats!
But when it comes to football, as much as I love my hometown they sadly will come second to my "national" football team, of THE Ohio State Buckeyes.
I couldn't be more excited with the return of College Football GameDay on Saturday's it's going to be an awesome season! Today, my Ohio State Buckeyes begin their journey without Braxton Miller in the QB spot. Braxton was taken out for the season with a shoulder injury during the pre-season. So it will be very interesting to see what Urban and the boys can do under this new experience.
Buckeyes started their morning, not to far from me on this day- in a town called Baltimore, and probably one of the ONLY reasons you would catch me at M &T Stadium, if I had decided to go to the game today. Ohio State played against NAVY, started slow, but seemed to make it work with a 34-17 win.
Here is to a wonderful season and many great games until we see the Bowl Games and the big BCS Championship!
