Football Season is almost upon us...

Hey Y'all It's your Favorite SportsGal89 Innnnnnn the Building!
First, I feel like I do this often and am not learning my lesson, but let me apologize for leaving y'all hanging as long as I have. It is not fair and I am reminded by people who have been enjoying my blog, that I need to really focus on my craft. So I am now devoting Sundays to be the days that I spend that time really giving back to those of you who have enjoyed loving what I write. So thank you to those who have stuck around. Sorry to those who have left and welcome to those who I might be reaching in a new way.

Today I write because my favorite sport is getting back in action. Let me start with this, I know one of the reasons I don't post as often after February, really is because when Football season is over, I get too distracted by the over abundance of the other sports. Basketball and really college basketball doesn't get great for me until it gets narrow- when you are down to the division championship games and March Madness and all that it entails. Pro Basketball when the Lakers suck are boring because I don't have a second team to hold on to. I mean I like OKC but when life is life, I can't devote that time in the same way. And then there is baseball season, I love baseball. But my attention span is limited if I can't see the sport live. And well hockey, which right now is in it's glory moment, I really need to get into that sport because I KNOW I will love it. But for those of you who are just joining my journey, I love football. It is my true love and it is about to be back!

The NFL released the 2015 season and let's take a look at who the Steelers are playing. Oh yes, before we continue, I AM a Steelers Fan. Check out some of my old posts if you want to know why.

So here is their upcoming schedule:
 Pre-Season-
August 9th (My BIRTHDAY) Steelers vs. Vikings (HOF 2015 Game)
 August 14th vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
August 23rd vs. Green Bay Packers
 August 29th vs. Buffalo Bills
 September 3rd vs. Carolina Panthers

Regular Season
 September 10th @ Patriots
 September 20th vs. 49ers
 September 27th @ Rams
 October 1st vs. Ravens
 October 12th @Chargers
 October 18th vs. Cardinals
 October 25th @ Chiefs
November 1st vs. Bengals
November 8th vs. Raiders
November 15th vs. Browns
November 29th @ Seahawks ** I am EXCITED for this game!! Bring on the LOB
December 6th vs. Colts
December 13 @ Bengals
December 20th vs. Broncos
December 27th @ Ravens (maybe I will buy tickets)
January 3rd @ Cleveland

So that's our schedule, it's tough, but it's not expected. I know particularly for our defense we are going to be learning. We have a new Defensive Coach with the great Dick Lebeau gone. And then we are restructuring with the release of Brett Kiesel and the retirements of Ike Taylor and Troy. If our offense can continue with the rhythm that they peaked with at the end of last season, I think our boys will fair well.

Here is to the next season!

That's all she wrote folks!
